H.D. Segur Insurance, Inc. has helped students achieve their dreams of attending college for many years. Merit based Scholarships are open to high school seniors who will be entering their first year of college in the fall. Financial information is not required for this scholarship.

Guidelines for Scholarship

• One time award for entering freshman only.
• Students need to have a letter of recommendation from any H. D. Segur employee or H.D. Segur client. This letter will need to be submitted with the application.
• Applications must be submitted between January 10th and March 14th.

Please go to the Connecticut Community Foundation’s website at www.conncf.org to complete the online application.

Click on the Grants & Scholarships at the top of the page and then click on Scholarships – Guidelines/Applications. The H. D. Segur application is under General Application (New Applicants / Re-Applicants).
